Highlights of May
Hey everyone it's been a while for updates figured I would fill in the loop. Bentley is awesome; he is a blessing in many different ways. he has learned how to not stop rolling ;) he went to being not mobile to very mobile. Things he loves to do are listening to music; I keep joking he's my musical baby anything with music catches his attention. secondly he loves the walker he is very mobile he no longer gets stuck :( he's growing up so quickly. My husband found out he has advanced which is a God send all on its own. we are so proud of him ;) all in all it's been a pretty good start to summer. I hope everyone has had a great start as well :)
Excuses
I can’t, I’ll do it later I don’t have time…
24 days ago I started a workout called Insanity which I have to say I could not have done without God. He is on our side, the first week went by quickly and I found myself after that first week not wanting to do it but every day I have stayed committed to it. The excuses have stayed put in my mind as if someone is saying I can’t there’s no need I’ll do it tomorrow or there is always another day.
The problem with these excuses is we do not just apply them to work out videos or even a book club but we apply them to everyday life. We hear that God calls but do we listen or do we say not now, or I refuse. How many times will God take us to not listen or just get tired of our excuses before he quits inviting us or just backs off completely?
The song that comes to mind is If Nobody Believed in you by Joe Nichols. We take His name out of the schools. The lawyers say it breaks the rules. The Pledge of Allegiance can't be writ. And under God should not be said. I wonder how much He will take. I just pray it's not too late. What if God quit trying'? He just turned away?
The golden rule is to do unto others as you would want to be treated. Well my friends I think it’s time we stop making excuses and accomplish what it is God wants us to accomplish before he decides to write our names out of his book forever. We have the choice to make but in the end so does Jesus
